Also called tea tree, a nickname coined by 18th century European explorer Captain Cook. He brewed its leaves for tea and beer for his crew. Manuka is also known for its healthful essential oil and honey. Manuka is a symbol of New Zealand’s culture and identity. It also symbolises loyalty & fortitude. Handpicked from the Bay of Islands in the Far North of New Zealand.
