DESCRIPTION: Queen Anne’s Lace flowers picked, pressed and embedded inside resin crystals. In New Zealand, it is found on roadsides and waste places. Named after Queen Anne, wife of King James I. Legend has it she was challenged by to create a beautiful lace. While making the lace, she pricked her finger. The purple-red flower in the centre of the flower is a symbol of her blood. This ethereal wildflower also represents sanctuary and protection.Foraged from one roadsides of the Bay of Islands in the Far North of New Zealand.
