DESCRIPTION: A pair of sunbleached pipi shells with tiny 23k handgilded gold leaf accents on its apex. Set on earring posts with clutches. Comes with jewellery display card (provenance story at the back) and charcoal grey matte cardboard jewellery box.
PROVENANCE STORY CARD: Pipi are New Zealand’s kai moana (seafood) that are most associated with kiwiana summer holidays. Symbolises a beachy kiwiana summer! Dead pipi shells have been ethically and sustainable foraged from one of small islands off the Bay of Islands in the Far North of New Zealand.
SHELL SIZE: Approx 15 x 20mm. There will be slight size, shape and colour variations due to its natural elements.
