DESCRIPTION: Real baby Paua shell dangles on a delicate fine 16k gold filled chain necklace. Uniquely New Zealand, Paua (also known as abalone) are considered taonga (treasure) to New Zealanders. Outer shell has been clay sculpted with speckles of natural Aotearoa beach sand. Clay is marine turquoise to match the colour of the ocean.
A touch of 24k gold gilded on the broken part of the shell.
