DESCRIPTION: A Creeping Buttercup Flower picked, pressed and embedded in resin. Set inside a deep round bezel pendant Creeping buttercup is the only buttercup species commonly found in New Zealand It is frequently found in poorly drained lawns, pastures, waste areas and orchards, and also sometimes in crops and gardens. It often becomes quite troublesome in pastures grazed by cattle or horses, as they tend to avoid grazing the weed, unlike sheep. For those with fond memories of their childhood playing the “Do you like butter” by holding a buttercup under your chin and if there is a yellow reflection on your skin it means you do!
